Tee Ball
League Ages 4 – 6 (Player’s actual age on 8/31/2026)
The Tee Ball Division is a combination Tee Ball / Coach-Pitch division for league age 4-, 5- and 6-year-olds.
League age 7-year-olds who are new to the game or who need additional training and development can play in this division with the approval of the Executive Board.
This division is a non-competitive division where players can learn, develop, and practice fundamental baseball skills at an early age and receive maximum enjoyment from the experience.
Tee Ball players do not evaluate to play.
There are no team standings or playoffs, and scores are not recorded.
Players can request a coach or teammate (depending on roster availability)
Single A ( A ); formerly Coach/Machine Pitch
League Ages 6 – 8 (Player’s actual age on 8/31/2026)
Single A is a division for league age 6-, 7- and 8-year-olds. 6-year-olds must have at least two seasons of Tee Ball (spring or fall, or equivalent) experience in order to play in this division.
This division is a non-competitive division where players can learn, develop, and practice fundamental baseball skills at an early age and receive maximum enjoyment from the experience.
Single A players do not evaluate to play.
Players can request a coach or teammate (depending on roster availability).
Double AA (AA); formerly Player/Coach Pitch Hybrid (Spring Seasons ONLY)
League Ages 8 – 10 (Player’s actual age on 8/31/2026)
Players/parents do not select whether they wish to play in the Double A division. Players are placed in this division's draft pool as recommended by the Coaching Committee with final placement and determination being determined by this division's player draft and drafting manager's ONLY.
All players may try-out but are not guaranteed to be drafted to AA (all 10-yr-olds will be drafted. Any 8-yr-olds not drafted will be randomly placed in the Single A division).
Remaining players not drafted in the AAA draft will be placed in the Draft Pool for AA.
All Double AA teams draft players and any remaining league age 8-yr old players are placed in Single A.
Game scores are kept, although the primary focus is player development.
Triple A (AAA); formerly Minors
League Ages 9 – 11 (Player’s actual age on 8/31/2026)
Players/parents do not select whether they wish to play in the Triple A division. Players are placed in this division's draft pool as recommended by the Coaching Committee with final placement and determination being determined by this division's player draft and drafting manager's ONLY.
Triple A division is a competitive full player pitch division.
Game scores and standings are kept and will be used to seed the teams for the end of season tournaments.
All players must attend a scheduled evaluation to be eligible for the draft and subsequently chosen.
All players may try-out but are not guaranteed to be drafted to AAA (all 11-yr-olds will be drafted. Any 10-yr-olds not drafted will be placed in the Double A division draft pool).
All Triple A teams draft their players and any remaining league age 9-year-old or 10 year old players are placed in the Double A (Spring season only) draft pool.
Teams may also be selected to play in a District 4 Tournament of Champions after the spring season tournament ends.
Majors
Ages 11 – 12 (Player’s actual age on 8/31/2026)
Players/parents do not select whether they wish to play in the Majors division. Players are placed in this division's draft pool as recommended by the Coaching Committee (LA 10s) with final placement and determination being determined by this division's player draft and drafting manager's ONLY.
The Majors division is a competitive division.
Game scores and standings are kept and will be used to seed the teams for the end of season tournaments.
Teams may also be selected to play in a District 4 Tournament of Champions after the spring season tournament ends.
All LA10-11 players may try-out but are not guaranteed to be drafted to Majors (all 12-yr-olds will be drafted. Any 10 or 11-yr-olds not drafted will be placed in the Triple A division draft pool).
Intermediates
Ages 11-13 (Player’s actual age on 8/31/2026)
This division is the first to utilize a regulation sized baseball field with a 70-foot base path and 50-foot pitching rubber.
This division is scheduled by and run at the District level.
The league's ability to charter a team in this division is dependent on sufficient interest
Juniors
Ages 12 – 14 (Player’s actual age on 8/31/2026)
This division is the first to utilize a regulation sized baseball field with a 90-foot base path and 60-foot 6-inch pitching rubber.
This division is scheduled by and run at the District level.
The league's ability to charter a team in this division is dependent on sufficient interest.
Seniors
Ages 15 – 16 (Player’s actual age on 8/31/2026)
This division utilizes a regulation sized baseball field with a 90-foot base path and 60 foot 6 inch pitching rubber.
This division is normally scheduled and run at the District level.
The league's ability to charter a team in this division is dependent on sufficient interest.
SIBLING OPTION
- If a parent has children that are close in age and could potentially be playing in the same Major, Triple A or Double A divisions, they may request that these children play on the same team as a “sibling option.” This request must be in writing to the league President prior to evaluations. If a parent elects to take the sibling option, any manager that drafts one of the siblings must draft the other with his/her final pick of the draft.
